Tumbling, glass, pain…I really don't remember much of what happened over the next hour. Charlie told me later that I went flying. The bus was hit from the back. I was sitting in that middle seat at the back of the bus. There'd been a seat belt, but I'd ignored it. I tumbled out of my seat and essentially slid right up the aisle.

It was chaos. Whatever had hit us from behind came around again from the side. The whole bus turned over.

I remember… feeling cold. Everything was cold from the wind coming through the broken windows. Except a big warm spot on my head. I was bleeding, but I couldn't tell that pain from the pain everywhere

For the longest time i was a Ravenclaw, but once I got out of school, I realized I was more Hufflepuff than Ravenclaw ^^ You just have to look beyond the stereotypes ^^

A basic breakdown:
-Gryffindors tend to be stubborn, and once they think they know what's right and wrong, they have a hard time changing their mind. They're very protective of their ideals and the people they're close to. Courage, yes, but not always in the sword fighting go save the world sort of way. they're simply brave enough not to give up.
-Slytherins are ambitious, but not evil. They don't mind playing up certain things to get what they want, or bend the rules. They can be sneaky when they want to be, and when something they believe is holding them back, they'll take a second look at it. Tend to be very good at debating, because they know how people work.
-Ravenclaw isn't about book smarts, it's about curiosity and a constant desire to absorb knowledge. Many teach themselves things. They're the people who always go on Wikipedia and read random articles for fun, or teach themselves how to do thigns even if no one will show them. they take a great deal of initiative when it comes to learning. they want to know how to do something, so they go learn how to do it ^^ And they can be very focused on the things they're passionate about, often to the point of being hard to distract

-Hufflepuffs are the optimists of the world. They believe in the best of people, but they're realistic enouogh to know that sometimes their expectations will remain unfulfilled. They're hard working when it comes to the things they care about, and are loyal. Often to a fault

An excellent breakdown of the houses' traits, although now I'm not sure which house I'd end up in :-s Its telling though that once I finished the books, I realised that Slytherins aren't evil, just misunderstood. I suppose we all have to grow up and see past the stereotypes.

Yeah, and people may change which Houses fit them the best. When it comes down to it, I think the most important indicator is what sort of things you value. If you value ambition and power, then Slytherin is right. Loyalty and open-mindedness would make you a hufflepuff, that sort of thing

There's a certain element of choice involved, because everyone can choose what sort of things are the most impotant.
