this is very much like i imagined hufflepuff to be, but i've never been able to accurately draw rooms... so thanks for doing this series! it is great!
the lake-window idea in slytherin is wonderful too, hard to decide where you wanna be sorted^^
though it's funny that the "unpopular" houses have the most awesome rooms ever.

makes me even more proud to be a puff.

i wan't to visit all of those places more than ever now that i saw your concepts

If I matched what you imagined even a little bit, then I've done my job well XD Though as for the awesome rooms...if you mean Hufflepuff and Slytherin, I think they're mostly awesome because they're different. Gryffindor and Ravenclaw both being stuck in towers sort of limits how creative one can get with them, you know? With the other two being underground, there's a great opportunity to do crazy stuff you couldn't do up in a tower

though the movies might have been a factor too i guess. weren't you influenced by their version of the gryff-rooms ?
i certainly was. and to me, ravenclaw fits better in the tower, being the air-element and all.

anyway, it's quite a challenge to make underground rooms feel so cozy. Normally the thought of living in a badger-den would make me a bit claustrophobic^^ Granted, Slytherin is still deliciously creepy, what with the green and blue underwater light they probably have, but i would totally live there.

I was to a point...though the Gryffindor common room in the movies was so small o.O There wasn't much different I could do with it though, lol. The Gryffindor house was so well described in the books, and they did stick pretty close to it in the movie, so I didn't end up changing much. With the Ravenclaw common room, I was influenced by the Lego Harry potter game XD

I like being underground to a point...but I really do miss the sunshine when I'm stuck there all the time. That's why I figured the sun-light thingie could help with that

That and making it big and open, it made it feel less underground ^^ I always think that the Slytherin common room would be cold, with all the green and silver and water...I love it, and I had a blast designing it, but I feel like I might get sick of living there for most of seven years XD

Hehe, I can just imaging the silliness that would ensure too...the giant squid slinking past, sometimes whacking at the glass just to see the students jump. Mermaid protests outside the windows... XD

I LOVE THIS!!!!! I LOVEEE how you made out Hufflepuff's Common room!!!!!!
Pottermore got me in Hufflepuff AND I do beleive that is my true house...and I can sooo Imagine this setup in Hogwarts...I love the fire pit, and homeyness of it...most of all I really really REALLY adore the bed styles!!! Dang! If this was real... I wish I had my Hogwarts letter!!! xD
