One of many sketches I've had sitting open on SAI just waiting for me to finish 
I realized when I went to post recent stuff on my facebook fan page, that I've been doing a lot of Disney and almost no Harry Potter art! I had to change that, lol. And since I needed a Hufflepuff pic anyways, and the first 4 chapters of Chamber of Secrets is up on Pottermore, I figured I'd celebrate with this!

Name: Alia Gardener (username: StormDust27199)
House: Hufflepuff (though it was a close one with Ravenclaw according to the Sorting Hat)
Wand: Maple and phoenix feather, 14 1/2 inches, Slightly Springy
Blood Type: Half-blood.
Pet: Calico cat named Esmeralda Spiderwick, Essie for short.
Traits:
-Very much on the shy side at first, but the more you get to know her, the more you realize she's completely bonkers.
-HATES the uniforms with a passion, having grown up attending a muggle school that didn't require them. Especially the tights. She tries to sneak in different kinds of clothing when she can, rather than the standard things the students are given, and will often wear dress pants and converse rather than the skirts and heels.
-Has an obsession with vests and scarves. She's known to wear her scarf even on warm spring days, just because she can.
-Is an artist and writer, obsessed with fantasy novels and Disney. She tends to do more fan-based art and writing than original, simply because she's in it for fun, and doesn't want to do either as a career.
-Her favorite class is Charms, though she's rather good at potions. As long as she doesn't get distracted anyway. She also loves history, but is bored to tears in Binn's class like everyone else. She sometimes contemplates doing more history classes just to take over for the man, he clearly needs a replacement. She's also interested in a more active history career, and lately has been looking into wizard archaeology.
-The better she knows people, the higher pitched her voice will get around them

you do realise that there are almost no non-uniform schools in britain? so im guessing you're american, in which case you'd probably be attending a US school of magic. dont mean to be pedantic, but it occurred to me as soon as i read the thing about the uniform :L
