Man oh man, I've wanted to do this for ages! I hope to do the others as well, but I simple had to do Ravenclaw first XD

Didn't even take all that long...2.5 hours maybe? And yes, the coloring is supposed to be sloppy. When I was an interior design major, I took a drawing class for it...they teach you how to color sloppily with markers it's hilarious XD

Yeah, I wish she would have described all of the common rooms, though I can understand why she didn't. Harry isn't a guy who would actively notice the layout and such of things, especially in his hurried visit to the Ravenclaw common room. But luckily Pottermore did :D

You only get to see them if you were sorted into those houses, a description of the common rooms is in each of the Welcome messages. Except gryffindor, since everyone already knows what it looks like from the books, lol. But people have posted the welcome messages elsewhere online, I found them all on google :D
