Alexandra hitched up her shawl over her hair, though the soaking fabric did little to block the rain. She didn't think she'd ever been so cold. At least at home she'd had a roof over her head…a gun pointed to it too, but it was warm there.

She shook such thoughts from her mind. She'd left, it was over now. She never had to deal with them again…she had worse problems to focus on right now. Finding shelter for instance.

I rolled my eyes, holding the phone away from my ear even as I giggled to myself. "So I can tell. You should tone it down a bit, isn't it really late where you are?"

"About two in the morning, yeah." My friend Anne was never very good at containing her excitement, even when it wasn't something about herself. All I'd had to do was mention a date with a certain guy at Disney World, and she'd flown off the handle. I didn't see the point really…I mean it was Disney World. A kid's place. There weren't even any roller coasters from what I'd heard.

Ron and Hermione in the snow! I know you guys are probably sick and tired of me painting HP characters in snowfalls...but they're so pretty and cute!!

I just like putting glowy specks all over my pictures, it adds a whole new level of depth =P

ANYWAYS this is a secret santa gift for *Baxelis! In her list of things she likes, Ron and Hermione are her favorite HP couple, she loves winter, and she loves scarves! Clearly it was meant to be =P And her favorite colors were red, black, silver, and purple. And I didn't notice that until just now. I am gooood. Accidentally awesome for the win! :XD:

I love the texture in the snow as well as the romantic mood. You can really see the passion between them and I like that it's appropriate. It's not too over the top or anything. =)
