I don't want to explain what's happening in the picture, as part of the contest is story-telling with the image itself. But I'd like to think that with the title, it's pretty clear

So Brian Kesinger basically got added to me all-time favorite artist list when I discovered his steampunk art and I fell in love with his style XD I have his Tea Girls calendar, and Otto and Victoria here were basically the inspiration for my own Steampunk story and the art for it and such! So when I heard of his contest, I knew right off I had to make something. Even if I don't win anything, it was a blast

I used a zillion tea stain textures (enough that SAI wouldn't even let me change the background color until i'd flatted the layers, lol) and experimented with lines and highlights on this one. So it's different from my normal stuff, but I learned a lot in the process! So like I said, win win! Though I admit, it was very difficult to get this thing done when my new tablet pen is being all wonky and keeps messing up. Definitely need to find a way to get that fixed asap, I have a ton of other pictures to finish!
